Der Mann rechts trägt einen dunklen Anzug, der Mann links eine russische Uniform. Bei den Männern handelt es sich um den Wolmirstedter Landrat Paul Löwenthal (rechts) und den sowjetischen Kreiskommandanten Oberstleutnant Pawel Sacharow. Das Foto entstand bei der Grundsteinlegung für Neubauernhäuser am Lehmkuhlenweg, heute Bauernweg, im Jahr 1946. Auf der Rückseite handschriftliche Notiz mit Bleistift, verfasst vom ehemaligem Museumsleiter Werner Schierhorn sowie Stempelabdruck des Museums.
